FAQ

Questions, answered.

What is Azoto?

A desktop app and an MCP server that give your coding agent a workflow, from idea to a deployed backend. Both run locally on your computer.

Does Azoto include an AI agent?

No. Azoto works with the coding agent you already use. You run it in Azoto's terminal, signed in to your own account.

Which coding agents does it work with?

Claude Code, Codex and Cursor CLI. They connect to Azoto through MCP.

Is Azoto affiliated with Anthropic, OpenAI or Cursor?

No. Azoto is independent and isn't affiliated with or endorsed by them.

Where does my code live?

In a folder on your computer. Nothing goes live until you deploy it.

Do you see my agent login, what I type, or my secrets?

No. Azoto runs locally, so your login and what you type stay on your computer. Secrets stay in your keychain and your hosting's secret store.

Which hosting and services can I use?

You choose them in Planning, and Azoto guides the setup.

Can I bring an app I made with Lovable, Bolt or v0?

Yes. Azoto works on a copy, so your original stays as it is.

How much does it cost?

We'll share pricing before launch.
